I am having issues importing from quicken. I exported a qif file from one of my quicken accounts (with checking, savings, credit cards etc.) all in 1 file. I tried importing into moneydance and got the following error java.lang.NullPointerException. I deleted the account and then tried importing them in 1 account at a time (into 1 profile). Every time I imported a file I received the error above. Also none of the accounts were correct this way also. I have another quicken account I imported (less data) and it seemed to have worked but I still received the same error. This account only had 1 checking, 2 savings and 2 credit card accounts.

I am operation in Windows 10 the latest build 1803(?)

Can you tell me how to fix so I can test moneydance and move away from quicken. I need to be operating in 2 different accounts. One for Personal Finances and the other for Travel.

Also I would like move moneydance files into my user profile "Documents". When I move the file every thing gets lost. Is there a user manual? How do you have your moneydance files saved in a different location.

    I'm a fellow user.

With some versions of Quicken when you are exporting data it can give you choices of what to export. Try selecting transactions only and see if you still have the same problem.
