(1) Can I set up 2 accounts so 2 people can manage their checking, savings etc on one computer? I want to set up two accounts so I can manage my mother's finances and mine but not have them merged.
(2) Is there a PDF type user guide for MoneyDance?

    I'm a fellow user.

This is my take on your questions.

A set of Accounts i.e, a combination of cheque, savings, credit card etc accounts, is often referred to as a data set in Moneydance. You can have as many data sets as you wish and they are not connected in any way, they are completely independent.

There is a PDF document for the previous version and that is located at:

    http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/older-versions/moneydance-2015-user...

Much of the detail is still relevant to Moneydance 2017.

The PDF has been replaced for an online knowledge base and that is located at:

    http://help.infinitekind.com/kb

Personally I would prefer some consolidated documents but there it is.

I would suggest you download and try the software in trail mode, it is fully functional but the only limitation being a 100 manually entered transaction limit which a purchase of the software will provide a license key that will remove the limit if you should decide to keep using the software.
