Hi this is probably a silly question but I am running the above version of Moneydance on a windows 10machine and a windows 7 machine. After a shaky start the sync works really well. The Windows 10 machine has alerted me to the fact that an update is available. Do I need to do anything particular to ensure that if I update both the data will still be in sync.

I am not support staff, just a user.
On both your computers do a FILE - EXPORT BACKUP.
Then update both computers to 2017.7.1(1671) from https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software
Its important both computers are running the same build.
Syncing should continue to work after the update.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, That was my plan but I am nervous after my shack start.
I will give it a go.

I'm a fellow user.
I would add to ensure both computers have completed syncing before starting on the upgrade, and to complete the upgrade on both machines before using Moneydance again.
IK should document the upgrade process when syncing is used.

Thanks for that I agree about documentation. It worked perfectly. Again Thanks.
