I want to uninstall and then reinstall and start fresh. Tried once and when reinstalling all data was there from first install.

I just had this problem and discovered that despite uninstalling the program there was still a moneydance file in my directory. I've since deleted it and am about to try again

    Hi Debbie,

The easiest way to start out fresh is from the Moneydance menu bar, go to File > New...

Removing the old Moneydance file helped, as well. I reinstalled Moneydance again without problem and started fresh. Having the old file out of the directory will also help me avoid future confusion should I ever need to restore the data. Thanks anyway.
