I am new to moneydance and have questions:
1) How do I make the font bigger or smaller when I wish to print a report after the report is generated?
2) Can I change just one part of a transaction like the amount or the date or do I always have to delete the transaction and start all over again to make a change?
3) I want to change a category. I want it to say "groceries" but it always comes up" Personal: groceries."
  Thanks, Janis

    I'm a fellow user.

This is my take on your questions

    1. The menu item File --> Preferences --> Printing allows you to specify the font face and size to be used in printed reports.

    2. Double click on the field you want to change and it will be placed in to edit mode

    3. The menu item Tools --> Categories show all the available categories, select the one you wish to change then use the Edit button, a dialog box will open that will allow you to change the name.

HI,  I still have a problem.  I am trying to make the font bigger when I print out a report.  I go to Moneydance--preferences-printing and try to change the font and size.  Then when I click ok it says   "The chosen look and feel is not available on this platform"  .  My reports are printing out in very small print.  HelP!  Janis

    Hi Janis,

    As a workaround, try this...

When you're looking to print a report, instead of 'Print', select 'Save'.

Save the report as an HTML file. (be sure to retain the .html file extension when naming the report.)

You can then open the reportname.html file in a spreadsheet, a word processor or a browser and print the report from within one of those environments.
