I want to try to fix my problems with report printing, and quotes and exchange rates downloading. Therefore, I want to upgrade to Moneydance 2017 per advice in these discussions. Currently using 2015 (1358).

I also need to upgrade to High Sierra. Currently at 10.12.6.

Could someone please advise which upgrade to undertake first? Or does it even matter?

I am not support staff, just a user.

Make a backup of your Moneydance data set.
Upgrade Moneydance to 2017 and check all but printing works.
Make a FILE - BACKUP and put a copy of this backup on say a memory stick.
Then upgrade to High Sierra to get printing working.

    Hope this helps

Sounds like a good plan. When you say in your first line to make a backup of the MD data set, do you mean another backup separate from the ones that I now have automatically made and sent to my documents folder when I close MD each time?

    Thanks for the help!

As long as you have a current 2015 backup in a safe place that what I meant in my first line.

    Hope this helps.
