I was in the process of reconciling when I realized the "ENDING BALANCE" that I entered was incorrect. It represents a large transaction, so I don't want to enter a dummy transaction. Anyway I can change the ending balance while reconciling?

    Hi Charlie,

I've just discovered this. If you've started reconciling, you can stop any time and click on "Finish Later". This preserves all your reconciled markups as "reconciling" (orange diamond). Then when you next bring up the Account > Reconcile window you'll find it has returned the "Ending Balance" field to "0.00", allowing you to enter the ending balance afresh.
