What is the best process to use from going to one laptop to another. I have just purchased a new laptop and want to use moneydance on that new laptop?

    Hi Dominic,

Download and install the same version of Moneydance that you had on your old machine to the new one.

If you had MD 2017, then you can d/l it here:
    http://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software

If you had a prior version, you can d/l it here:
    http://infinitekind.com/previous-versions-of-moneydance

You can use your existing license key to register the new installation.

Finally, copy your data file from the old machine to the new one using a flash drive, CD/DVD etc.

DO NOT try exporting your data from Moneydance. Simply copy the data file and transfer it to the new machine, the same way that you would transfer any other type of file.
