Hi,

can I share the data on a network between MD for Mac and MD for Windows. We just upgraded to version 2010.

The purpose of this setup is to share information on bank statement between the manager and her assistant. The manager works with a Mac, the assistant with a Windows 7 PC.

Thank you
Erwin

    Hi Erwin,
The way I understand it is that yes you can share the Moneydance data file across a network but you should never access the file from more than one machine at a time or you could corrupt the data.

    Erwin,

Kevin is correct, the .md file is readable cross platform. You want to make sure the location of your data file is in a shared folder. And as Kevin says you can only enter transactions from one open application at a time.
