Connecting with the Coop - what's the user ID?
Hi there - The cooperative bank is listed as a supported institution - I'm in the UK and bank with the coop - when I go through the setup wizard for online it asks for a user id and pin number - I have no idea what this relates to - although I do have a pin number on the account (as opposed to my pin number on a card) there is no user id - when loging into the online banking site it asks for sort code, account number, then pin number and various other security details -
I've tried the account number but that's not accepted.
Is this a different Cooperative Bank?
Is the user ID something I should set up with the Bank?
What else should I shove in the user ID field?
Or how else do I get it to login to the cooperative?

Hi Myles,
The Cooperative Bank on our list is based out of North Carolina, USA. So, unless you opening your account in the US, it is probably a different Cooperative Bank. If you'd like to download transactions from your bank, the best way is to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, QIF, OFX or OFC files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance. You can also open your bank's download page directly (after entering the appropriate address in the Account->Edit Account menu) by going to the menu bar and selecting Online->Open Account Website.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

Thanks Jessica,
Perhaps you could add an additional comment to the institution to distinguish it from other Cooperative Banks - there are several around the world.
Kind regards
Myles

That's a good idea. I'll add a note to the name of the bank so that it's more clear.
