    Hi Karl,

ING has a non-standard server setup that causes this error in Moneydance. We're working on a fix, but in the meantime it;s fairly easy to work around. You simply need to do one manual transaction import into your account. Just download an OFX or QFX file from ING and import it into Moneydance. Once you've done that, you should be able to use the built-in download option for future updates.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thanks for your interest in Moneydance!

Karl - I suggest you take a look at the thread "ING Direct now supports direct connection" (link below). There is good info in there. The trick at the moment seems to be if you can get the OFX downloads to work once then the direct connect will follow suit. Just make sure your connection is setup correctly as ING's online access code is your Dire3ct Connect password (at least in my case)

Downloaded a QFX file from ING and importing in into Moneydance worked perfectly.
