establishing a bank connection

hello, I would like to set up on line transaction downloads with my banks.
I am in Australia.
i need some help.
They are
Westpac banking Corporation
ING
could you please help.

    I'm a fellow user.

    Automatic downloads cannot be done with Australian banks. None of them support direct connect. They all provide downloadable transaction files from their Internet banking sites - usually in QIF or CSV formats these can be imported into Moneydance.

    thanks for the information, but I"ve just started Moneydance. How do I download transactions?

    You login to your banks internet banking website then it is often a case of looking around to see how your specific bank has done it.

    For example Westpac has published a FAQ on how to do it:
