iPhone app is not working properly
Using iPhone app and MD build 748.
I just entered two entries into the iPhone app and here's what happened after sync'ing with my Mac laptop (some details included below).
1) enter a credit card charge of $59.44 to Office Depot with a memo of "Ink for printer". When it sync'ed with MD on my Mac, it did not bring in this memo of "Ink for Printer".... it was just blank on the Mac side.
2) enter a deposit into my checking account of $2,079.36 with
all the details (description, meno, date, catagory, etc.) Note:
during the first screen on the iPhone app, one has a keypad to
enter the amount. I just entered the description and pressed the
blue/white "right" button to go to the next screen (I didn't enter
an amount from this keypad by mistake). However, with the next
screen, there is a place to make an amount entry.... and I did
enter the $2,079.36. When it was sync'ed with my Mac, it did not
bring the amount into MD!
Hopefully, these two issue can be fixed in the iPhone app soon!

I believe both of these issues have been fixed with version 1.1 of the iphone app which was posted to the app store today. I tried out both of these examples on 1.1 and was not able to reproduce the problem.
Please update to the latest version of the iphone app and let me know if the problem persists.
Please also make sure you have the latest version of the Network Synchronizer extension it is currently up to build 6.

I updated to the latest iPhone version and now the keyboard (on the iPhone screen) remains open after entries (pressing save) and even pressing "done" on the keyboard.... keyboard remains open however.

... also, I forgot to add that after sync'ing everything is sync'ed but, the item in the "Check#" column (check #, Deposit, ATM, etc.) did not import into MD on the Mac side.

Ben, I'm still seeing the iPhone app misbehaving. Today I entered three entries and after sync'ing, 2 of the 3 entries did not bring in the "Memo" data from the iPhone app. Seems strange as it's inconsistent on what is left out during the sync.
Also, just an FYI... later I realized that a couple of entries in the iPhone app (in a credit card account) had a date that I entered incorrectly (I entered 5/5/10 vs. the actual date of the charge on 5/4/10). Thus, I went back to the iPhone app and changed the date. Then when the app sync'ed with my Mac again, on the Mac side, the date was correct (in the Date field) but strangely, the other date (5/5/10) had been entered into the "Tax Date" field when before it was blank. I double clicked the entry and without deleting the "Tax Date" data, I simply hit "return" cha-ching... the "Tax Date" data was gone. Strange!

Hi Mary
Can you confirm that you are using the latest version of the Network Synchronizer extension. You can see this by selecting Extensions->Get Info for->Network Synchronizer. You should be using version 6.
If you are not remove it and reinstall the latest verison.

Hi Ben, yes, I noticed (and downloaded) the build 6 this past Thursday while traveling and this is what I can report back to you.
1) it seems at this time, the iPhone app is now keeping the memos data entered (which it wasn't before... sometimes).
However, I've now also noticed this...
1) before the build 6 update, I was sync'ing MD and MDiPhone with my wireless network or with a "create a network" option within my wireless connection on my MacBook Pro (handy to do while traveling and not on my home wireless network).
2) after I updated to the build 6 update, I noticed that this "create network" link seemed to no longer work (I hope we can get this function back!).
3) when I returned home this past Friday, it sync'ed the first time with my home wireless network (all is well). However, just now, I was entering some entries into my iPhone app (to continue to check it) and I noticed it wasn't sync'ing at all. I quit MD and MDiPhone app several time and restarted.... after about 3-4 restarts, it started to sync properly.
I don't know why this is but, I'm keeping my eye on it and will continue to give you feedback. I do think the new build 6 is keeping what I enter now however so this is good!

Ben, I've been closely watching this iPhone app (latest vers.) and I have the build 6 to sync with.
As I've stated, I've noticed that this app does not "consistently" sync with MD on my Mac (on my wireless network). Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not until several restarts of the iPhone app.
This morning, I entered a couple of credit card charges on the iPhone and when I opened MD on the Mac and then MD on the iPhone it would not sync until I had quit the iPhone app twice and on the 3rd restart, it then synced.... strange.
About 1 hour later, I entered one more entry on the iPhone app and when I opened the MD Mac program and then the iPhone app, it synced the first time... go figure!!
Just wanted to pass on the information. I see in the web pages that someone else is having the similar problem. Good luck sorting this one out.

Is anyone else having a problem with the iphone keyboard?
When I try to enter a new transaction>description the keyboard will not respond. If I try to return to 'New Transaction' from frozen keyboard the keyboard will stay on the screen.
However if you press the blue and white > from the new transaction screen most of the time you can complete the entry. Sometimes the keyboard will lock up in the edit transaction screen but not often.
I really like this app, hope we (YOU) can get the bugs ironed out. Is there any debug info I can send you that would help.

I think all of these issue were ironed out in version 1.2. We have also submitted an update to Apple to the app, which will fix some issues which occur when the user is running OS4. It will also add new features, such as running balance totals.
