Money Dance adjusted my balance
I am not sure what happened, but prior to downloading transactions today my ending balance in one of my checking accounts was accurate. Upon downloading the daily transactions, somehow my ending balance was over $600 more than what my actual account was. I reviewed each transaction and compared everything to my online bank account and could not find one discrepancy. I then adjusted the beginning balance in under the edit account menu and now the account is correct. This is the first time this has happened in the three week period I have been using the software. Does any have any ideas what could have happened?
Also, does MoneyDance support the option of allowing me to create a notation in the software and keep it there. Example would be for me to create a notation to remind me of a certain happening, to do, etc. so that I could refer to it at a later point in time. I could create a reminder, but there are no fields to allow me to make a notation (explanation) as to what I want to remember.

Ron,
I apologize for the long delay in our response, I am embarrassed to say that we have been snowed under with questions about Moneydance 2010. For a notation, you can create a "General Reminder," which has a large memo field for notes.
Are you still having the balance issue, and if so, would you please include the version of Moneydance you are using, your OS, and the version of Java you are using?
Please let me know how I can be of further assistance,
