I have discovered a refund I have received on Expense Category "Motor Vehicle- Roadside Assist" is not reflected in the budget report. Jan $220 Feb $(110) Total $110. Budget report is showing $220. I have dates set as as This Year.

    Just a user,

Sounds like the refund somehow was marked as a expense in the account register

    I'll clarify
    There were 3 transaction
    expense payment $110
    expense payment $110
    Refund $100
    Total transaction $110
All expense reports & cashflow reports are showing $110
    Budget report is showing $220

just a user on win 7 64 MD build 1860

I did a little testing and set up a credit card account with expense and income transactions against the "Expense Category "Motor Vehicle- Roadside Assist" category.

I set up a budget using the default "new style" budget and the old "mixed interval" budget.

I found both budgets and the budget report to show the correct amounts.
I attached copies. ( the report is going to show odd budgeted amounts because March is a partial month, but the total is correct)
So I'm not sure what the issue is with your setup. Maybe its a Mac or Linux issue.
